Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi Province (Governor Kim Deok-hyun) announced on the 18th that it has signed a "Business Agreement for the Promotion of Household LPG Small Storage Tank Supply Project" with the Korea Gas Safety Corporation Gyeonggi Northern Branch.

This agreement ceremony was held to promote the household LPG small storage tank supply project to resolve energy inequality in areas without city gas supply within the jurisdiction. The ceremony was attended by Kim Deok-hyun, Governor of Yeoncheon-gun, Choi Seong-jun, Head of the Korea Gas Safety Corporation Gyeonggi Northern Branch, and other officials to discuss cooperation plans.
Yeoncheon-gun has entrusted the work to the Korea Gas Safety Corporation, and after selecting recipients through a project announcement in April, the corporation plans to carry out the installation of LPG small storage tanks and gas boilers for the selected recipients.
Kim Deok-hyun, Governor of Yeoncheon-gun, stated, "Through this agreement, we hope to reduce the fuel cost burden for residents in energy-deprived areas without city gas and enable safer gas consumption."
Choi Seong-jun, Head of the Korea Gas Safety Corporation Gyeonggi Northern Branch, said, "We will do our best to ensure the successful promotion of this supply project and will work responsibly to help residents use LPG gas more safely."
