Muan County in Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 18th that it recently conducted occupational safety and health training for 106 participants of the 2025 first half fiscal-supported job programs (public work and local community jobs) at the Seungdal Culture & Arts Center small theater.
The training invited Shin Seho, a manager from the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, as the instructor, focusing on explaining the most common risk situations occurring at workplaces and the appropriate response measures for each case.

In particular, detailed guidance was provided on the prevention of heatstroke caused by overexertion and on how to respond to safety accidents such as wasp stings that may occur on site, raising participants' awareness of safety.
Meanwhile, the fiscal-supported job program is a project in which the government and local authorities temporarily provide jobs to support employment stability and livelihoods for vulnerable groups. The county is currently operating a total of 106 participants?78 in public work and 28 in local community jobs?across 76 projects, including environmental maintenance near the Oryong District sunken park.
Governor Kim San stated, "Through this training, we focused on helping participants recognize various safety accidents they may encounter in the field and emphasized checking safety regulations," adding, "We will do our best to ensure participants can safely complete the first half job program."
