The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pil-ho) announced on the 18th that it has signed an agreement with the Government Employees Pension Service (Chairman Kim Dong-geuk) to coordinate relief activities at disaster sites.
Through this agreement, the two organizations have agreed to closely cooperate in disaster response and volunteer activities. They plan to join forces in relief efforts, including material and human support during disasters, and to establish an operational system for effective crisis response.
Kim Dong-geuk, Chairman of the Government Employees Pension Service, stated, “Organic cooperation among various organizations at disaster sites is of utmost importance. It is truly meaningful that retired public officials with extensive public service experience and a sense of duty can participate in building a social safety net to respond to disasters.”
Song Pil-ho, Chairman of Hope Bridge, said, “When disasters occur, it is important to minimize secondary damage through prompt relief and help victims return to their daily lives as soon as possible. We are grateful to the Government Employees Pension Service for joining us in disaster relief activities.”
