Namwon Cheongnyeonmaru Recruiting Trainees for 'Youth Korean Cuisine Startup School'

Applications accepted until the 21st
Training includes restaurant operation know-how

The Jeonbuk Namwon Youth and Startup Center 'Cheongnyeon Maru' is recruiting trainees for the 'Youth Korean Cuisine Startup School' until the 21st, targeting young people who wish to start a Korean restaurant.


According to the city on the 18th, this recruitment aims to provide education necessary for food service startups to young people through Cheongnyeon Maru, and to support the cultivation of sustainable and competitive entrepreneurs by strengthening the capabilities and knowledge of aspiring founders.

The 'Youth Food Service Startup School', which has been held since 2023, features a different theme each year. Last year, it focused on 'Cafe Startup School', receiving a great response from aspiring cafe entrepreneurs.


This year, the program will cover essential topics for Korean restaurant startups, including ▲Korean Cuisine Startup A-Z ▲Korean Cuisine Startup Trends ▲Menus Inspired by Eumsikdimibang ▲Profit Strategies from Successful Restaurant Owners ▲Restaurant Operation Know-how. In addition, consulting and hands-on practice sessions will be provided, featuring practical know-how from renowned Korean cuisine researcher Ko Eunjeong and founders of famous Korean restaurants.


The training program is completely free of charge, and outstanding graduates will receive follow-up support such as on-site consulting. Applications are open until the 21st, and final selection will be made through document screening and interviews. Applications can be submitted online via the QR code on the poster.


A city official stated, “The Youth Korean Cuisine Startup School is a program that offers systematic support to help participants move beyond simple cooking classes and actually launch their own businesses,” and added, “We hope for active interest and participation from young people aspiring to open Korean restaurants.”
