Realizing Transparent Audit Administration Together with Citizens
Paju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Kyung-il) announced on the 18th that it held a commissioning ceremony on the 17th at the city hall business room for 11 newly appointed general citizen auditors for 2025.

The newly appointed general citizen auditors were selected through an open recruitment process from 11 areas including Munsan-eup, and including 9 reappointed members, a total of 20 people will serve as general citizen auditors for the next two years.
They are tasked with reporting and suggesting issues such as corruption, illegal or unfair administrative matters, and inconveniences in citizens' daily lives occurring in the region. In particular, during comprehensive audits of eup, myeon, and dong, they are expected to play a significant role in realizing transparent and fair audit administration by reporting current issues, improving improper practices, and supplementing deficiencies.
Mayor Kim Kyung-il of Paju said, “As citizen auditors, I hope you always listen to the opinions of local residents and present various opinions for the development of city administration,” adding, “Through the citizen auditor system, we will strive to establish a trusted administration and public service community and make Paju a city of integrity.”
