LG Electronics is launching the LG Tromm AI Objet Collection Wash Tower (hereinafter AI Wash Tower), which conveniently improves the entire washing, spinning, and drying process by integrating artificial intelligence (AI) with core component technologies including motors. The more sophisticated AI technology enhances convenience while reducing fabric damage.

According to LG Electronics on the 18th, the AI Wash Tower detects the laundry load within 3 seconds after connecting the power and loading the laundry, and immediately provides the estimated washing and drying times for each course. It also features an 'AI Time Guidance' function that learns usage patterns to provide more accurate estimated times the more it is used.

It also automatically dispenses detergent and fabric softener based on the detected laundry load, and analyzes the degree of contamination in real time during the washing process based on the turbidity of the wash water, adding detergent as needed.

The 'AI DD Motor (Direct Drive Motor)' enhanced with core component technology analyzes the material and amount of laundry and selects the cleanest drum motion among six types that causes the least fabric damage.

It also delivers more delicate drying performance. The 'Shrinkage Reduction Course' improves shrinkage by up to 20% compared to previous models, and the 'Towel Course' reduces wear by up to 35%. Additionally, it detects the material and thickness of blankets, shortening drying time by up to 39 minutes for thin summer blankets. Notably, the AI Wash Tower learns the frequently used washing and drying courses and options of customers and automatically creates a 'My Course'.

This new product also increases the drying capacity to a domestic maximum of 25 kg. With washing and drying capacities both at 25 kg, convenience is enhanced, making it easier to dry large loads such as winter blankets.

LG Electronics has equipped both the washer and dryer with the 'TrueSteam' function, which boils water up to 100 degrees Celsius to create fine steam particles. The fine steam sterilizes harmful bacteria during washing and drying and reduces wrinkles in laundry. The 7-inch display, 60% larger than before, also makes it easier to check information.

The 2025 AI Wash Tower will be available for pre-order from the 24th of this month until the 9th of next month. The shipment price is 4.89 million KRW, and the monthly subscription fee is 93,900 KRW based on a 6-year contract and care manager visits every 12 months.
