Gwangju Saenalschool, a specialized educational institution for children of Goryeoin immigrants and multicultural youth who have entered Korea mid-way, announced on the 18th that it has published a report containing the results of its 2024 academic operations.


The report presents an overview of academic management, major educational activities, and achievements, and has been made available to school members and the local community. It also provides detailed accounts of Korean culture experiences, autonomous activities, and creative projects designed to help students assimilate into Korean society and culture and foster creative thinking.


Various programs such as Eoullim Festival, career experience, disaster safety training, and Saenal Festival are also highlighted. In the section "My Experience at Saenalschool," students, alumni, and staff share their personal stories and experiences at the school, expressing their affection for the school and their growth journeys.


The report also reviews the opening of the Saenal Library, staff training, parent information sessions, and the results of satisfaction surveys from students and parents, providing a comprehensive look at the school's educational activities. Additionally, it outlines student selection and consignment procedures, as well as media coverage related to Saenalschool, enhancing transparency in school operations.


A representative from Gwangju Saenalschool stated, "We have consistently worked to help students from diverse cultural backgrounds adapt well to Korean society and expand their learning opportunities through Saenalschool," adding, "We will continue to establish ourselves as a place of education that supports the dreams of each individual student."


Gwangju Saenalschool, established in 2007 by leaders of Gwangju Goryeoin Village, is an alternative school that supports the stable settlement and growth of children from Goryeoin Village and multicultural youth.
