On the 17th, Yeongyang County in North Gyeongsang Province announced that the Gyeongbuk Branch of the Korea Specialty Contractors Association (Chairman Choi Jinhyun) had donated a scholarship fund of 3 million won to foster local talent in Yeongyang County.

The Gyeongbuk Branch of the Korea Specialty Contractors Association, established in 1985, currently has about 4,900 member companies in North Gyeongsang Province. The association contributes to the development of the national economy by promoting various projects aimed at improving construction-related systems and advancing specialized construction technology.
In 2022, the association also donated 2 million won to the Yeongyang County Talent Development Scholarship Fund, continuing its support for local students so that outstanding talents in Yeongyang County can move toward a brighter future.
Choi Jinhyun, Chairman of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Branch of the Korea Specialty Contractors Association, who attended the donation ceremony, said, "We decided to donate the scholarship fund to provide outstanding local talents with opportunities to become leading figures in future society," and added, "We will continue to take the lead in sharing and activities for the region."
O Dochang, the governor of Yeongyang County, said, "I sincerely thank all the members of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Branch of the Korea Specialty Contractors Association for consistently donating scholarships for the development of education in Yeongyang County," and added, "We will do our utmost in scholarship projects so that students, who will be the future leaders, can realize their precious dreams."
