Gyeongbuk Governor Lee Cheol-woo demanded the dismissal of President Yoon Seok-yeol's impeachment trial, insisting, "Let's call (President Yoon) 'Gakha' (dismissal)." In response, Park Ji-won, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, pointed out on social media (SNS) on the 17th, "It's fortunate that there isn't even talk of calling him 'Sanggam Mama' or 'Jeonha' (Your Majesty)."

Park also criticized pro-Yoon Seok-yeol lawmakers such as Na Kyung-won and Yoon Sang-hyun, who attended an anti-impeachment rally hosted by the Protestant group Save Korea in front of Gumi Station, Gyeongbuk, on the 15th, saying, "They rush to Gumi and bow their heads to the first impeached figure in the style of Park Chung-hee, with the second group of forces."

At the rally, Representative Na Kyung-won scolded, "The Constitutional Court is an accomplice in the paralysis of the government by Lee Jae-myung of the Democratic Party," and asked, "Why don't they reach an obvious conclusion?" She emphasized, "The fake testimony of former Special Warfare Commander Kwak Jong-geun, along with fabrication, persuasion, and threats, has already started the framing of a rebellion. To end this farce, the impeachment must be dismissed." Additionally, Korean history instructor Jeon Han-gil raised his voice, saying, "Who instigated and fabricated the rebellion? If we compare it to the Joseon Dynasty era, the Democratic Party of Korea has committed such a grave crime that their entire family should be exterminated."

Park stated, "Thanks to Prosecutor General Shim Woo-jung, the ringleader of the rebellion, the political scene is like kimchi stew in the presidential residence, the livelihood economy is a hellish economy, and North Korea only launches missiles," and claimed, "(Choi Sang-mok) the acting president's entire job is to 'postpone' and 'exercise veto power'." He continued, "DJ (former President Kim Dae-jung) called the IMF foreign exchange crisis the greatest national crisis since the Korean War, but the current situation is a bigger crisis and national disaster," asserting, "During the IMF crisis, only the economy collapsed, but now it is a total collapse."

He added, "During the foreign exchange crisis, national unity was achieved through collecting gold, but now there is complete division," and said, "We only look to the Constitutional Court. The country will survive only if the dismissal decision is made by the 21st," urging the Constitutional Court to promptly deliver its impeachment ruling. Furthermore, he emphasized, "Acceptance of the (Constitutional Court's) ruling is natural. Not a single one among the 52 million citizens refuses to accept it," and stressed, "A swift dismissal is the correct answer."
