The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) announced on the 16th that following the operation of an integrated Korean pavilion at the world's largest mobile communications exhibition, Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025, held in Barcelona, Spain from the 3rd to the 6th, they will set up a Korean pavilion at the Bologna Beauty Fair in Italy, held from the 20th to the 22nd, to support exporting companies.
At the Bologna Beauty Fair, one of the world's top three beauty exhibitions, 242 Korean companies will participate. KOTRA will hold a briefing session on global beauty industry trends for participating companies on site and invite six local cosmetics distributors to conduct store entry consultations.
From the 25th to the 29th, 102 domestic companies aiming to enter the European market will participate in the century-old dental equipment exhibition held in Cologne, Germany. KOTRA plans to maximize exhibition marketing results by operating the 'K-Dental Showroom' to introduce representative products of Korean companies and running a 'Premium Promotion Hall' that combines company-specific pitching stations and business consultation rooms.
At the world's most prestigious Hannover Industrial Fair in Germany, opening on the 31st, KOTRA will also set up a Korean pavilion. They will continue export support for 45 domestic companies there and assist Korean companies in understanding the latest trends and adopting innovative technologies through a booth visit program to global companies such as Siemens, SAP, and Microsoft (MS).
From the 7th to the 13th of next month, KOTRA will operate a Korean pavilion with 22 construction heavy equipment parts and materials companies participating at the Munich Construction and Mining Machinery Exhibition in Germany, providing export support. At this triennial exhibition, KOTRA will support domestic companies in seeking opportunities to enter supply chains through on-site consultations with global construction machinery companies such as Volvo, Caterpillar, and Liebherr.
Kang Kyung-sung, president of KOTRA, said, "We will actively support domestic companies' entry into the global market through mega exhibitions in Europe," adding, "We will continue to expand export support for companies by utilizing various exhibition marketing strategies."
