The agency representing actor Kim Soo-hyun, who has been accused of dating the late Kim Sae-ron since she was a minor, expressed a desire to meet directly with the deceased's mother to explain the situation.

Gold Medalist, Kim Soo-hyun's agency, stated in a press release distributed on the 15th, "We have confirmed the position of (Kim Sae-ron's) mother. (Omitted) It seems there are some differences in opinion between our side and hers," expressing this intention.

Kim Sae-ron's mother, in a statement released through the YouTube channel 'Garosero Research Institute' (Gase-yeon), said, "Our goal is to restore the honor of our child, who was ruined in an instant by numerous false reports."

In response, Gold Medalist expressed concern, saying, "Publicly debating the facts is not appropriate for either the mother, who sought any means to restore the deceased's honor, or for the deceased herself."

They added, "Our management would like to meet with the mother and provide a thorough explanation," and said, "We would appreciate it if you could contact the Gold Medalist office at any time."

Gase-yeon has raised suspicions about the relationship between Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron since the 10th. Citing conversations with Kim Sae-ron's family, they claimed that Kim Soo-hyun dated Kim Sae-ron for six years starting when she was 15 years old in 2015.

Kim Soo-hyun's side initially denied dating Kim Sae-ron but, after a photo showing a kiss on the cheek was released, admitted on the 14th that they did date, though they stated that the relationship did not begin while Kim Sae-ron was still a minor.
