At around 10:08 a.m. on the 15th, a fire broke out at the Keungryun ticket sales office on the 4th floor of the viewing and assembly facility in Ilsandong-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi Province.
According to the fire authorities, the fire at the Keungryun ticket sales office on the 4th floor of the viewing and assembly facility in Ilsandong-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi Province, started at around 10:08 a.m. and was extinguished by approximately 10:35 a.m.
Due to the fire, a woman in her 80s slipped and sustained an injury presumed to be a fracture on her right wrist, and three people inhaled smoke and were transported to a nearby hospital.
It is reported that 122 people inside the building evacuated on their own.

Upon receiving a report that "a fire broke out on the 4th floor of the building," the fire authorities dispatched 19 pieces of equipment and 48 personnel to carry out emergency firefighting.
The fire authorities stated, "It is presumed to have occurred during remodeling work at the 4th floor Keungryun ticket sales office (not in operation)," and added, "Additional searches for casualties are currently underway."
