Social Enterprise Nanchun Signs MOU with Daegu Foundation for Culture and Arts to Promote Culture Nuri Card Usage

The Daegu Foundation for Arts and Culture (President Park Soontae) signed a business agreement on the 14th at the Suchang Hall of the Daegu Art Factory with Nanchun Co., Ltd. (CEO Jung Heejae), a local social enterprise that provides IT solutions for vulnerable groups. The agreement aims to promote the use of the Integrated Culture Voucher Program (Munhwa Nuri Card) and expand mutual publicity.


Through this agreement, the Foundation and Nanchun Co., Ltd. will cooperate to enhance accessibility for each target group of Munhwa Nuri Card users via the culture experience community-based application ‘Daon’, and to activate the use of the integrated culture voucher program by linking it with the Foundation’s Daegu Culture, Arts, and Tourism Integrated Information Platform.

Nanchun Co., Ltd. is a startup founded by local university students and has received several awards, including the Grand Prize (Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award) at the 2024 Culture Digital Innovation and Culture Data Utilization Contest, the Social Enterprise Promotion Agency Director’s Award (Daegu Mayor’s Award) at the Social Venture Competition, the Excellent Enterprise Award at the Korean Association for Cultural Economics Autumn Conference, and the Minister of Health and Welfare Korea Foundation for Persons with Disabilities Director’s Award.


The mobile platform ‘Daon’ operated by Nanchun Co., Ltd. is a culture experience community-based application that provides customized convenience information according to the type of vulnerable group. Currently, about 7,000 people have downloaded and are using the ‘Daon’ application. Through this agreement, both organizations expect to create synergy by promoting information to culturally vulnerable groups, providing convenience in using the Munhwa Nuri Card, and encouraging its use.


Bang Seongtaek, Head of the Culture and Arts Division of the Foundation, stated, “Through cooperation with local companies, we will expand opportunities for cultural and artistic experiences for vulnerable groups and Munhwa Nuri Card users in cultural blind spots by providing more advanced online services.”
