Enjoy Walking and Running in Uijeongbu, Smart App 'Moduui Runner' Launched

Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) announced on the 14th that it has launched the smartphone application ‘Modu-ui Runner’ to promote citizens' health and city administration.

This app was jointly planned and developed by the city and a development company, integrating ▲city administration promotion ▲walking and running ▲stamp tour functions so that citizens can easily access various city news while maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, it provides the best app service to promote the 8 scenic spots of Uijeongbu tourism in an engaging way.

In particular, the smartphone app-based online running challenge led by the local government and the AI-powered city promotion feature ‘AI Uijeongbu’ are the first of their kind introduced in the country. Furthermore, a region certification-based platform was established to allow citizens to check various challenges and information at a glance.

Various walking and running challenges will be continuously operated from March through the app, and the stamp tour challenge including the 8 scenic spots of Uijeongbu tourism is scheduled to start in May. Through this, citizens will have the opportunity to naturally manage their health in daily life while exploring local attractions.
