A Total of 300 Million KRW Donated So Far...
New Hospital Set to Open on May 7
Soonchunhyang University Cheonan Hospital announced on the 14th that it had received a donation of 100 million KRW for the construction of its new hospital from Dongsin Polymer, a PVC tile manufacturing company.
The donation ceremony was held the previous afternoon at the hospital's health screening center conference room, attended by Hospital Director Lee Moonsoo and Dongsin Polymer CEO Park Youngdae, among others.
Dongsin Polymer had previously donated 100 million KRW each in March 2023 and February last year for the new hospital construction fund, bringing the total amount donated so far to 300 million KRW.
CEO Park Youngdae stated, "This is to contribute to the advancement of healthcare in the local community and to practice sharing management," and added, "I hope the new hospital will become a central hub for the region's development and fulfill its role as the leading final referral hospital in the central region."
Hospital Director Lee Moonsoo expressed his gratitude, saying, "We will do our utmost to repay the trust of Dongsin Polymer and the local residents by ensuring the successful opening of the new hospital."
The new hospital has been built right next to the current facility on a 45,300-square-meter (13,700-pyeong) site, with five basement floors, 15 above-ground floors, and a capacity of 1,000 beds. Equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, a patient-friendly care system, and a safe and efficient medical environment, it is set to open on May 7.
