Xperix, LS Chem, and Others Sign MOU to Strengthen Strategic Collaboration in Chemical Materials Sector

Experix Co., Ltd. (CEO Yoon Sang-chul) announced on the 14th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with LS Chem and Chemieworks to establish a strategic partnership in the fields of batteries and thermal management.


Experix is developing thermal management materials applied to electric vehicles, electronic devices, and industrial cables through its affiliate XCM, and has been recognized for its product capabilities by global companies including complete vehicle OEMs. Additionally, LS Chem and Chemieworks are specialized developers of secondary battery materials, rapidly expanding their market presence through in-house development and collaboration with leading overseas companies.


This agreement was made to strengthen mutual cooperation for technology development and market expansion through comprehensive collaboration among chemical material developers. The partnership was led by Dr. Kim Kyung-chul of LS Chem, a founding member of Cheonbo. Dr. Kim stated, “Through my experience in founding and operating companies, I have a good understanding of the technical factors necessary for rapid growth of chemical companies and the needs of customers. Since the three developing companies with complementary roles have come together and joined hands, we expect a broad and active approach in developing new materials and entering the market.”


Yoon Sang-chul, CEO of Experix, said, “Through this agreement, we aim to expand the scope of material development from battery cells to cases. By securing top-level research personnel domestically and internationally, rapid market response through joint development and research cooperation has become possible. We will continue meaningful expansion beyond our existing digital ID business and expect value-up in the chemical materials field as well.”
