Jeongeup City in North Jeolla Province will implement the '2025 Eco-friendly Agricultural Products Package Support Project for Pregnant Women'.
According to the city on the 13th, this project was established to provide pregnant women with fresh and safe eco-friendly agricultural products to support healthy eating habits and to promote the consumption of local eco-friendly agricultural products.

Pregnant women can purchase eco-friendly agricultural product packages through Ecoemall by paying 20% of the cost (96,000 KRW) out of an annual maximum of 480,000 KRW.
Eligible applicants are those who are currently pregnant or have given birth after January 1, 2024, as of the application date. The application period is until the 31st. Applications can be submitted by visiting the local Eup, Myeon, or Dong Administrative Welfare Center or online (Ecoemall) from the 14th to the 31st.
The supplied items include eco-friendly agricultural products, processed foods made from organic or pesticide-free ingredients, organic livestock products, organic seafood, and antibiotic-free livestock products (Korean beef, pork, fertilized eggs), with at least 50% of the order required to be eco-friendly agricultural products.
A city official said, "We expect that supplying eco-friendly agricultural products to pregnant women will promote the health of mothers and babies, and contribute to expanding the market for eco-friendly agricultural products."
