Baehongdong Kalbimmyun Features Chewy Air-Dried Noodles
Enhanced with Baehongdong’s Signature Spicy and Tangy Sauce

Nongshim announced on the 13th that it will launch its third product under the Baehongdong brand, 'Baehongdong Kalbimmyun,' on the 24th.
Baehongdong Kalbimmyun is a product that offers a chewy texture by using kalguksu noodles with Baehongdong's unique spicy and tangy sauce. Nongshim's Baehongdong Kalbimmyun uses air-dried noodles instead of fried ones. It achieves the smooth and dense texture characteristic of dried noodles, resulting in chewy and elastic kalguksu noodles. The noodle shape is a diamond-shaped 'dosakmyeon,' which provides both thick and thin textures simultaneously.
Additionally, the spicy and tangy bibim sauce unique to Baehongdong, made by fermenting pureed pear, red chili pepper, and dongchimi, is enhanced with chopped kimchi. A special fried topping that replicates crispy kimchi jeon and savory black sesame seeds are included as separate toppings to complete the product.
A Nongshim representative stated, "Public interest in kalguksu bibimmyun dishes has grown, with online mentions of related restaurants and recipes increasing more than threefold over the past three years. We aim to meet consumer expectations with Baehongdong Kalbimmyun, which can be enjoyed with the flavorful Baehongdong sauce, and develop it into a leading product in the bibimmyun market by 2025."
