When Curious About 'Women's That Day,' Turn On the Olive Young App

CJ Olive Young Signs MOU with Cha Hospital
90% of Women "Search Menstruation Information Online"
Women's Health Content to Be Offered via Olive Young App

CJ Olive Young announced on the 13th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Seonggwang Medical Foundation, a medical corporation operating Cha Hospital, at Cha Bio Complex located in Pangyo, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, to promote women's health.

Through this agreement, Olive Young and Cha Hospital plan to jointly carry out various project activities aimed at enhancing women's health. Additionally, they will continuously provide expert content by offering reliable medical and health information from Cha Hospital through Olive Young's online mall and official social media service (SNS) channels.

Olive Young has collaborated with Cha Hospital to provide accurate information on women's health and raise awareness. According to a recent survey conducted by Olive Young targeting customers aged 15 to 49, over 90% of respondents reported searching for menstruation-related information "via the internet." Even when abnormal symptoms occurred, many tried to resolve them on their own based on unverified information found online rather than consulting or receiving treatment from medical professionals.

Accordingly, Olive Young plans to introduce women's health content reviewed by Cha Hospital medical staff through its own mobile application (app) menstrual cycle management service called "WCARE." WCARE is a product line proposed by Olive Young for women who proactively manage their health.

Professional content directly participated in by Cha Hospital medical staff will be regularly published, and expert opinions from obstetrics and gynecology specialists will be continuously provided on frequently asked questions by women, such as managing premenstrual syndrome (PMS) cycles. In addition, offline lecture programs will be held to actively address questions related to women's health.

An Olive Young representative said, "We are pleased to be able to present professional and trustworthy women's health content together with Cha Hospital, which is recognized as the top authority in the field of women's health in Korea," adding, "We plan to advance this service continuously to care for women throughout their life cycles."
