Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) received a plaque of appreciation from the residents of 'Lotte Castle Eastpole' on the 12th.
The plaque of appreciation was presented on behalf of the residents to express gratitude for the smooth progress of the move-in process at Lotte Castle Eastpole.
Lotte Castle Eastpole is an apartment complex within the Jayang 1 Redevelopment Promotion Zone, completed on January 23, with 1,063 households moving into six buildings. It was built on the site of the Eastern District Court and other facilities, starting construction in 2020 and newly reborn after five years. Move-in began on the 6th, and a move-in center has been set up inside the apartment management office to assist residents.
On this day, about ten residents, including Kim Hyo-jung, president of the prospective residents' council, visited the mayor's office. They expressed their gratitude and presented the plaque of appreciation for resolving civil complaints and working hard to improve residents' convenience. In particular, applause was given for forming an inspection TF team to promptly and actively communicate and respond to defect issues.
Kim Kyung-ho, mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, "As the mayor, I only did what was naturally required for the convenience of the residents, so I feel humbled to receive such a plaque of appreciation. I will communicate even more diligently so as not to be ashamed of this plaque. I hope the residents will create a premium apartment complex through harmony and communication. The district office will also actively support this."
The redevelopment project of Jayang 1 Redevelopment Promotion Zone covers an area of 78,119㎡ around 680-63 Jayang-dong. It is expected to become a new center of the northeastern Seoul area as a large-scale advanced complex business district, combining the Gwangjin-gu Office integrated building (18 floors), advanced business complex (31 floors), hotel and officetel (34 floors), and seven residential buildings (26 to 48 floors).
