Hongseong County Opens Smart Healthcare Zone at Hongye Park

Various Health Services Including Body Composition Analyzer and Blood Pressure Monitor

Hongseong County held an opening ceremony for the healthcare zone installed in Hongye Park and officially began its operation.

Hongseong County in South Chungcheong Province has officially launched the operation of its Smart Health Rest Area and Healthcare Zone, which were established in Hongye Park in Naepo New Town.

On the afternoon of the 12th, Hongseong County held an opening ceremony for the 'Hongseong County Smart Healthcare Zone' at Hongye Park in Naepo New Town, Hongbuk-eup, with Vice Governor Cho Gwanghee, Council Chair Kim Deokbae, county council members, and South Chungcheong Provincial Council members Lee Sanggeun and Lee Junghwa in attendance.

The Hongseong County Smart Healthcare Zone has been set up in two locations within Hongye Park: near the back gate of the Chungnam Library and near the back gate of the Chungnam Institute of Health and Environment.

The health measurement equipment installed in the Healthcare Zone includes a body composition analyzer, a stress measurement device, a blood pressure monitor, and a height measuring device.

The county has also installed wired and wireless charging benches and public Wi-Fi in the parks surrounding the Healthcare Zone to ensure convenient use for visitors.

Prior to the official opening, the county conducted a pilot operation and a survey from January 20 to 11 to gather residents' feedback and address operational issues.

Cho Gwanghee, Vice Governor of Hongseong, said, "It is important to improve one's own health management abilities for health promotion and disease prevention. We expect that the Hongseong County Healthcare Zone will help residents develop healthy habits for managing their well-being."

Meanwhile, the Hongseong County Healthcare Zone is a smart self-health check rest area established to enhance the self-directed health management abilities of local residents, after being selected for the 2023 Chungcheongnam-do Smart City Expansion Project.
