On the 12th, the Gwangju Office of Education held a traffic safety campaign on the way to school at Munsan Elementary School in Buk-gu, together with the Gwangju Bukbu Police and the Gwangju Green Mothers' Association. Participants held placards and banners with the slogan "Stop at Step 1, Look Both Ways at Step 2, Wait for 3 Seconds, Prevent Accidents at Step 4," promoting traffic safety rules within the children's protection zone.
