This exhibition was prepared to strengthen the autonomy capabilities of local residents and to increase interest and participation in the Resident Autonomy Center programs. This year, in celebration of the launch of the special city status, various works created directly by residents are showcased.

The exhibition will run for two weeks until the 24th. A total of about 90 works, including calligraphy, paintings, pottery, and knitting pieces produced through the Resident Autonomy Center programs by the 29 town, township, and neighborhood residents' autonomy councils, will be displayed.

The city will also hold the '2025 Hwaseong Special City Resident Autonomy Festival' at Bongdam 2 Ecological Sports Park on the 15th. The event will feature stage competitions and experience booths prepared by the town, township, and neighborhood residents' autonomy councils.

Mayor Jeong Myeong-geun of Hwaseong said, "I hope this exhibition will be an occasion to celebrate the launch of the special city status and to wish for a new leap forward for the city."
