How about a budget-friendly and healing trip to Yeonggwang?

Up to 80,000 KRW in Travel Expense Support
for Individual Tourists Residing Outside the County

How about a budget-friendly and healing trip to Yeonggwang?

Yeonggwang County in Jeollanam-do announced on the 11th that it is currently running an incentive support program to attract individual tourists, in response to the increasing trend of small-scale travel demand.

The Yeonggwang County Individual Tourist Attraction Incentive Support Program is designed to attract tourists and revitalize the local economy by subsidizing part of travel expenses. The program will continue until the allocated budget is exhausted within the year.

The county provides support to teams of individual tourists consisting of 2 to 5 people who reside outside the county. After visiting tourist attractions and fulfilling essential conditions such as SNS authentication, the county offers subsidies of 30,000 KRW, 50,000 KRW, or 80,000 KRW for local spending of 70,000 KRW, 100,000 KRW, or 150,000 KRW or more, respectively.

Support is not provided during local festivals such as the Yeonggwang Bulgapsan Sangsa Flower Festival, Beopseongpo Danoje, Yeonggwang Chalbori Eoulmadang, and the E-Mobility Expo.

To receive the incentive, applicants must submit a travel plan and other required documents to the designated email address at least five days before the trip, and submit the application form and supporting documents by registered mail within 15 days after the trip is completed. Detailed information can be found on the Yeonggwang County Office website.

A Yeonggwang County official stated, "We hope this program will widely promote Yeonggwang's attractive tourism resources and provide economic benefits to tourists visiting Yeonggwang County."
