He continued, "I pay tribute to the dedication of the Bereaved Families Association, who are working hard for the enactment of the '12.29 Passenger Plane Tragedy Special Act,' and I will actively strive to ensure that the wishes of the bereaved families are fully reflected."
He also stated, "Due to the passenger plane tragedy, the travel industry, small business owners, and the local economy are suffering. I ask for your understanding and cooperation so that Muan International Airport can be equipped with safe facilities and resume normal operations as soon as possible."
In particular, Governor Kim San explained the Don (pork), Sae (glasswort), and Go (sweet potato) event to be held from the 28th to the 29th in Unnam-myeon near the airport, saying, "Although this event is intended to revitalize the stagnant local economy and restore consumer sentiment, I hope it will also provide an opportunity for the bereaved families to come together and receive warm comfort."
Park Hanshin, the representative, said, "I am deeply grateful for your words of empathy and commitment to stand with the bereaved families until the end. The Bereaved Families Association will also do its utmost to ensure that efforts to uncover the truth and recover from the tragedy are not in vain."
