The Jeonnam RISE Center held an explanatory session on the 'Integrated Management Platform' built for the successful operation of the Jeonnam RISE project at the Jeonnam Human Resources Development Institute on the 11th, targeting local universities, and discussed efficient utilization measures for mutual growth between the region and universities.
During the session, practical training was provided for about 70 university project personnel on detailed system usage, such as entering university information and inputting project proposals, for applying and registering for competitive projects.
In addition, various hands-on trainings were conducted to ensure 100% utilization of the system on-site, including entering performance indicators, using the accounting system, and sharing information by university. The session also enhanced understanding of the integrated platform and allowed universities to share the progress of their respective projects.
The online integrated platform is a digital system that manages the entire process of the Jeonnam-type RISE project, which consists of 15 sub-projects under 5 major projects with a total budget of 303.1 billion KRW, including application, registration, evaluation, selection, project fund execution, management, and performance assessment, all in a one-stop online environment.
Son Younggon, Director of the Jeonnam RISE Center, said, "We will provide multifaceted support to ensure the successful establishment of the RISE project, a mega project for mutual growth between Jeonnam Province and universities."
Meanwhile, Jeonnam Province is currently conducting an open call for the selection of universities to participate in the RISE project for one month until the 21st.
