The recent delivery ceremony at Jeonnam Sarangui-Yeolmae was attended by Kim Donggeuk, Secretary General of Jeonnam Sarangui-Yeolmae, and representatives from the 13 selected social welfare facilities.

The 'Priority Support Project for Welfare Issues', now in its seventh year since its launch in 2019, is Jeonnam Sarangui-Yeolmae's flagship public contest project designed to help establish a rapid response system for welfare needs, such as professional and leading programs or institutions to address community problems and welfare issues, or urgent facility reinforcement projects in the community.

The project began accepting applications in January this year, and after document and on-site evaluations in February, 13 facilities were finally selected to receive approximately 230 million KRW in support. The second round of the project is scheduled to accept applications at the end of next month, and any eligible institution in the region may apply.

The selected institutions are: Grace Disabled Daycare Center, Mokpo Disabled Nursing Home, Didimbil, Dream Growing World, Beolgyo Milal Regional Children's Center, Gangjin Jabiwon Social Welfare Foundation, Mokpo Children's Home, Korea Blind Union Jeonnam Branch Naju Chapter, Echo Regional Children's Center, Gwangyang Senior Welfare Center, Jindo-gun Senior Welfare Center, Silver Love Village Corporation, and Resurrection House.
