Providing Customized Career and College Admission Strategies for Local High School Students
Yeongju City (Mayor Park Namseo) will hold the "2026 Customized College Admission Briefing Sessions on the Go" at five general high schools from March 11 to April 4, aiming to provide the latest college entrance trends and response strategies tailored to different admission types.
This admission briefing is part of the "Our Children’s Hope Design Project," which began last year and is being carried out using the Local Extinction Response Fund. The project aims to provide customized educational solutions and systematic career planning support for students in regions facing the risk of population decline.
The briefing sessions will be held as follows: March 11 at Yeonggwang Girls' High School (Park Jungseo, Head of Career and College Admission Center at Etoos), April 1 at Yeonggwang High School (Lee Yuna, Consultant at UnivClass), April 2 at Jeil High School (Lee Yuna, Consultant at UnivClass), April 4 at Yeongju Girls' High School (Ahn Seonghwan, Advisor to the Ministry of Education’s College Admission Policy), and April 4 at Daeyeong High School (Bae Youngjun, Career and College Admission Counseling Teacher at Boseong High School). Leading admission experts in each field will visit the schools in person to provide the latest strategies and personalized counseling, offering practical help to students.
Kim Hojung, Head of Seonbi Talent Development, said, "Following last year, we are once again holding the 'Customized College Admission Briefing Sessions on the Go.' We expect that by providing essential information for college entrance through these sessions, we will help relieve examinees' worries and anxieties and assist them in establishing successful admission strategies."
