Gathering Opinions for the Development and Establishment of a Regionally Appropriate Model
Hongseong County is holding a briefing session to gather residents' opinions for the efficient establishment of a smart farm complex.
Hongseong County in Chungnam, which was the first in the country and the only one in the central region to be selected for the 'Smart Agriculture Promotion District' project, has begun gathering opinions to develop and establish a regionally appropriate model for the efficient implementation of the project.
On the afternoon of the 10th, Hongseong County held a resident briefing session on the 'Youth Lease-type Smart Farm Complex Construction Project' at the Gwangri Sori Village Hall in Seobu-myeon, attended by over 50 people including county council members, local residents, and related officials.
The 'Smart Agriculture Promotion District' is a project to establish a base for the spread of smart farms at the regional level. Hongseong County was selected as the project site and is currently promoting a 4-hectare lease-type smart farm on an 8.23-hectare site at 663 Gwangri, Seobu-myeon, with a project budget of 20 billion KRW.
The resident briefing session was held to share the basic design direction of the future public smart farm complex related to the 'Smart Agriculture Promotion District' project and to collect various opinions from local residents to reflect them in the design.
At the briefing, residents expressed their hope that the smart farm complex to be built in the future would harmonize with the local community and be successfully established for the development of agriculture for future generations, and suggested ideas such as prioritizing local residents' use and job creation effects.
In particular, before the full-scale implementation design of the youth lease-type smart farm complex, participants intensively discussed matters to be considered by field and part, such as civil engineering, architecture, and machinery required for the complex, and discussed sustainable energy utilization plans and various countermeasures against weather disasters.
Lee Seungbok, head of the County Agricultural Technology Center, said, "Since a large budget is being invested in this project, we will thoroughly review potential problems from the early stages and actively collect various field opinions to do our best for innovative project implementation."
