Kim Kwangyeol, Yeongdeok County Governor, Visits Busan Regional Office of Land and Infrastructure to Discuss Pending Projects

Request for Early Implementation of the 6th National and Local Road Construction Plan by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport

Kim Kwangyeol, the governor of Yeongdeok County in North Gyeongsang Province, met with Jeon Hyeongpil, the head of the Busan Regional Construction and Management Administration, and key executives at noon on the 10th to propose the early commencement and opening of major local projects for their successful implementation.

At the meeting, Governor Kim proposed the following projects: the improvement of Local Route 20 (Gangu-Chuksan), the construction of Local Route 69 (Dalsan-Jukjang), and the improvement of National Route 34 (Andong-Yeongdeok).


In particular, Governor Kim emphasized that with the opening of the Sangju-Yeongdeok Expressway and the Donghae Jungbu Line railway earlier this year, many tourists are now visiting the coastal attractions along Local Route 20 (Gangu-Chuksan) and the inland section of Local Route 69 (Dalsan-Jukjang). He requested the Busan Administration to expedite the commencement of road improvement projects to help distribute traffic more effectively.


The Busan Regional Construction and Management Administration expressed its understanding of the importance of Yeongdeok County's local projects and requested active cooperation from the county to ensure the projects can be implemented as soon as possible.
