Goryeong County in North Gyeongsang Province will implement the '2025 Goryeong County Regional Development Excellent Enterprise Environment Improvement Project' to strengthen the competitiveness of local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and revitalize the local economy.
The support is available to SMEs in Goryeong County engaged in manufacturing, and selected companies can receive up to 10 million KRW in support.
Approximately three companies will be selected, and as many companies as possible will be chosen within the budget limit.
The 'Regional Development Excellent Enterprise Environment Improvement Project' provides funding to improve the working environment and welfare facilities of manufacturing companies that have contributed to the development of Goryeong County.
Among local small and medium-sized manufacturing companies in Goryeong County, those that either have two or more employees who have relocated from outside the region, or companies with five or more employees where a certain proportion of employees have local addresses, can receive up to 10 million KRW in support.
The application deadline is 5:00 p.m. on the 28th, and further details can be found on the websites of Goryeong County or the Gyeongbuk Economic Promotion Agency.
County Governor Lee Namcheol stated, "By supporting improvements in the poor working and welfare environments of manufacturing companies in Goryeong County, we will enhance employee welfare and corporate productivity, thereby revitalizing the local economy and responding to the crisis of local extinction. We will continue to promote various business support projects to strengthen the competitiveness of local SMEs and revitalize the regional economy."
