Yeongju City Recruiting Companies for Small Business Development and Dormitory Rent Support Program

Yeongju City (Mayor Park Namseo) announced on the 11th that it is recruiting companies to participate in the 'Small but Strong Enterprise Development Infrastructure Support Project' and the 'Employee Dormitory Rental Support Project' to strengthen the competitiveness of local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and improve living conditions for workers.

The application period for the 'Small but Strong Enterprise Development Infrastructure Support Project' runs until the 31st and is targeted at SMEs with business sites in Yeongju City. The support areas consist of a total of 17 projects across six fields: design development, promotional material production, product manufacturing, consulting, marketing, and workforce training.

A total of 13 companies will be selected through this recruitment, and selected companies can receive support of up to 20 million KRW.

The 'Employee Dormitory Rental Support Project' is designed to ease the burden of dormitory rental costs for SMEs with business sites in Yeongju City. The project supports up to 80% of the monthly dormitory rent (up to 300,000 KRW per month), with support available for up to five employees per company. Eligible companies will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis, provided all required documents are complete.

Companies wishing to participate can apply at the Northern Branch of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Economic Promotion Agency. Detailed information can be found in the ‘Notices’ section of the Yeongju City website.
