Providing Carbon Management Solutions for Manufacturing Companies in the Automotive, Battery, and Electrical and Electronic Sectors
Carbon emission data management company Glassdome announced on the 11th that it has established a European branch in Munich, Germany, and is making a full-scale entry into the European market.
Glassdome is a climate tech specialized company that collects carbon data generated during the manufacturing process and provides one-stop services from monitoring to reporting, helping companies respond to global environmental regulations. Following the United States and South Korea, Glassdome has established a European branch and plans to provide carbon management solutions to manufacturing companies in the automotive, battery, and electrical and electronic sectors in Europe, the origin of global carbon regulations.
The EU battery regulation mandates the collection of carbon footprint data for electric vehicles and rechargeable industrial batteries. Additionally, a digital battery passport is scheduled to be introduced from 2027, requiring automotive and battery-related suppliers to measure the carbon emission data of parts and obtain global certification.
Glassdome’s product carbon footprint solution collects carbon emission data from companies with various types of machinery and production lines and manages it comprehensively. In particular, it has the advantage of reducing the time and cost required for global certification of carbon emission data by obtaining ‘ISO 14067’ verification.
Jinki Ham, CEO of Glassdome Korea, said, "Glassdome’s European branch will become a key hub to support automotive, battery, and electrical and electronic manufacturing companies located in Europe to effectively respond to the intensifying EU carbon regulations," adding, "We plan to make this an opportunity to share the benefits of Glassdome’s proven technology in Korea with manufacturing companies in Europe, the origin of the regulations.”
