Sales Record Achieved After Entering Costco in May Last Year
Taiwan Exports Confirmed for This Year
Full-Scale Entry into the Global Market Begins
Dongwon F&B announced on the 11th that its probiotic drink 'Denmark Take Alive' has sold over 10 million units since it was launched in Costco stores across Japan in May last year.
Denmark Take Alive features unique fruit flavors such as sweet grapefruit, mango, blood orange, and muscat green grape, characterized by a smooth yet sweet taste. It also contains functional ingredients like probiotic cultures and vitamins, which have been well received by local consumers. In particular, interest in K-beverages that pair well with Korea's spicy flavors has been growing, contributing to its popularity.
Dongwon F&B aims to increase cumulative sales in Japan to 25 million units by the end of this year. Building on its success in Japan, the company plans to introduce Denmark Take Alive to major distribution channels in Taiwan within the first half of the year. It also intends to expand exports to the United States, Europe, and Southeast Asia, nurturing Denmark Take Alive as a global brand.
A Dongwon F&B representative said, "Denmark Take Alive, along with Dongwon's other beverage products such as Coolpis and Boseong Green Tea, is receiving significant attention in overseas markets. Based on manufacturing technology accumulated over more than 40 years, we will continue to introduce differentiated flavors and functional ingredients in various beverages and expand exports worldwide."
