Basement 2 to Ground 3 Floors, Completion by End of 2027
Equipped with Swimming Pool, Gymnasium, and Parking Lot
Yeongdeungpo-gu (District Mayor Choi Ho-kwon) announced that it will build a public complex facility equipped with sports facilities and a public parking lot in Yangpyeong-dong to revitalize the area and enhance convenience for residents.
The Yangpyeong-dong public complex facility will have a total floor area of 7,320㎡ (approximately 2,214 pyeong), with 2 basement floors and 3 above-ground floors. It will be constructed by utilizing a site previously used as a snow removal material warehouse. Located near a densely populated residential area along the Han River, it is expected to offer high accessibility for residents, making it convenient to use.
The total project cost is 44.1 billion KRW. The groundbreaking ceremony was held on March 10, and construction began with a target completion date of December 2027.

The district has designed the facility as a combined space of sports facilities and public parking, reflecting residents' needs to improve land use efficiency and enhance daily convenience.
Additionally, the district will continue to expand infrastructure for community sports to support residents' healthy lives and leisure activities. Within this year, seven indoor park golf courses and an indoor gateball court in Singil 3-dong will be established. The Daerim 3 Yusuji Comprehensive Sports Facility and Brighton Yeouido Public Sports Facility are also under construction, aiming to open in 2026.

We will continue to do our best to promote community sports and expand sports facility infrastructure.”
