Latest Cases of Financial Fraud and Safe Financial Transaction Methods Provided

BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seongbin) has signed a business agreement with the Busan Social Service Center and the Busan-Ulsan branch of the Financial Supervisory Service to support financial education programs for senior job participants.

The purpose of this agreement is to provide high-quality financial education to participants in the "Senior Job Participants Education" program, which is organized by the Busan Social Service Center and 16 districts in the Busan area, and to proactively prevent financial fraud through education.

Through this agreement, each organization has agreed to actively cooperate in providing human and material resources, as well as information, to operate financial fraud prevention education programs.

Moon Jeongwon, Chief Consumer Protection Officer (CCO) of Busan Bank, said, "As financial fraud becomes increasingly sophisticated, the damage suffered by seniors is growing uncontrollably," and added, "Busan Bank will continue to do its best to provide financial fraud prevention education to protect our customers' valuable financial assets."

Busan Bank operates a variety of educational programs, including financial education for vulnerable groups, BIFC financial lectures, and the Financial History Hall. In recognition of these efforts, the bank has received the "Education Mecenat Top" award for 17 consecutive years in the field of educational donation projects, and has been re-designated as a "Certified Institution for Career Experience in Educational Donation" by the Ministry of Education and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
