"A Full Review of the Constitutional Court's Deliberation Is Not Valid"
The Reform New Party stated on the 7th that "the essence of illegal martial law and rebellion remains unchanged" in relation to the cancellation of President Yoon Seok-yeol's detention.
Lee Dong-hoon, chief spokesperson of the Reform New Party, said in a commentary on the day, "The court acknowledged on the 7th that there were issues with the detention procedure of President Yoon Seok-yeol and decided to cancel the detention," adding, "The Reform New Party respects the court's judgment, and at the same time emphasizes that the prosecution and the Corruption Investigation Office's immature response regarding the rebellion charges should be criticized."

He continued, "This court decision pointed out procedural defects, but the essence of the illegal martial law and rebellion incident committed by President Yoon remains unchanged," and "We clearly point out that the People Power Party's claims such as 'a full review of the Constitutional Court's deliberation' or 'he should not have been detained in the first place' are not valid."
