Ulsan Office of Education Produces Video for International Women's Day

Expressing Gratitude for the Dedication and Efforts of Female Staff Members

The Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Cheon Changsu) released a video featuring the stories of female staff members on the Office's YouTube channel on March 7, in celebration of International Women's Day (March 8).

This video highlights the dedication of female staff members working in various fields such as teaching, facility management, and sports coaching, aiming to shed light on their efforts and value.

In the 1 minute and 57 second-long video, female staff members appear themselves, sharing their pride in their roles and candidly talking about their experiences in the field of education.

In particular, the video introduces female staff members working in different sectors, showcasing their dedication and effort, and delivering a message of appreciation and gratitude.

No Heonkyung, a facility management officer featured in the video, said, "As the only female facility management officer, I feel a strong sense of pride," and added, "Although I am nearing retirement, I will do my best until the end to ensure students have no inconvenience in their school life."

Kim Mijeong, a kindergarten teacher, said, "The growth of children is the foundation of future education," and added, "I will guide the children with love and care."

The Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education has also shared the video on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, in addition to YouTube, to make it easily accessible to many people.

An official from the Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education stated, "We are deeply grateful for the efforts of female staff members who are building education in Ulsan together, and we will continue to take the lead in creating a gender-equal educational environment where female staff members are respected."
