Gyeonggi Yeoju Urban Corporation (President Im Myeong-jin) announced on the 6th that Yeoju Yangseom Baseball Stadium will reopen starting from the 8th.
Yangseom Baseball Stadium had restricted use for a while due to significant damage to the nets and supports caused by heavy snowfall last winter. However, restoration work has now been completed, allowing citizens and baseball enthusiasts to safely use the facility again.
Through this restoration work, Yeoju Urban Corporation thoroughly inspected the safety of the stadium and improved all major facilities within to ensure normal operation. These measures are part of efforts to provide citizens with a safer and more comfortable environment. Yeoju Urban Corporation will continue to diligently conduct facility inspections and maintenance. Some remaining maintenance work is planned to be completed by March.
Coinciding with the reopening, the Yeoju Namhangang Baseball League will commence on the 8th. This tournament will offer local baseball enthusiasts an opportunity to compete and serve as an important event where citizens can enjoy sports together and lead a healthy leisure life.
