Seeking to Enhance Efficiency with In-house AI Platform 'LS GPT'

Myeong Nohyun, Vice Chairman of LS Group, emphasized the need to cultivate star players in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) to survive the accelerated global supply chain restructuring under the second Trump administration. LS Group plans to improve work processes and find optimal execution strategies by utilizing LS GPT, which was recently introduced.

According to industry sources on the 6th, Vice Chairman Myeong recently called for strengthening leadership capabilities within the organization at the 'LS Team Leader Conference 2025' held at LS Miraewon. Vice Chairman Myeong stated, "We are entering a turbulent era due to the emergence of next-generation AI and global supply chain restructuring, but it is precisely when the ground shakes that new opportunities arise. We must derive optimal execution strategies by applying and utilizing LS GPT and training programs."


LS GPT is a generative AI platform independently developed by LS Group based on the OpenAI GPT model. It is built on Microsoft's cloud technology and provides a three-tier service at the individual, company, and group levels. At the 'individual' level, employees create their own AI assistants to utilize in their work, while at the 'company' and 'group' levels, it generates effects such as collaboration within the organization and cost reduction through AI utilization.


Vice Chairman Myeong said, "As direct leaders, each member must proactively respond to the rapidly changing environment with improved work methods, and each team must produce star players who stand out with new strategies. It is also essential to actively embrace ideas from the Gen Z generation (born 1995?2010) suitable for the AI era and maximize the capabilities of each organization member by utilizing talent management programs such as LS MBA."

In particular, this year's conference emphasized fundamentally strengthening business competitiveness through AI-based productivity enhancement, following Vice Chairman Myeong's directives. Team leaders spent time exploring ways to increase AI utilization and the possibility of collaboration between teams in affiliated companies to create synergy within the group.


LS Group plans to continuously operate various programs for talent development, including the 'Future Entrepreneur Training Course' to enhance the capabilities of CEO candidates, the 'Collaboration Facilitator Training Course' for managers, and executive Insight reports and Zoom seminars to support executives' decision-making.
