On the 5th, Kim Beom-seok held the '12th Real Estate Market and Supply Situation Inspection Task Force' jointly chaired with Jin Hyun-hwan, the 1st Vice Minister of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and made these remarks.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Seoul Metropolitan Government will operate on-site inspection teams. In connection with the joint on-site inspections of 25 autonomous districts promoted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, they plan to intensively monitor transaction trends in major areas such as the Gangnam 4 districts, Mapo, Yongsan, and Seongdong districts.

They will also investigate acts that disrupt transaction order, including housing price collusion reported through the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport’s integrated illegal real estate activity reporting center. Activities such as inducing listings not to be registered below a certain price using real estate applications and open chat rooms are included in the crackdown targets.

Starting from the 10th, a focused planned investigation on abnormal housing transactions in the Seoul area will begin. Vice Minister Kim said, "If illegal activities are confirmed as a result of the investigation, we will notify the National Tax Service, the Financial Services Commission, and local governments to take measures such as tax audits, loan recalls, and administrative sanctions."

Furthermore, the government decided to monitor housing market trends and household debt patterns. They plan to proactively respond to prevent speculative and disruptive demand caused by psychological anxiety. Vice Minister Kim stated, "We will continue to monitor the housing market situation through the Real Estate Market and Supply Situation Inspection Task Force and strictly respond to acts that disrupt the real estate market."
