Busan Gijang-gun (Governor Jeong Jong-bok) will recruit students for the ‘2025 1st Term Gijang-gun Citizens University and Gijang-gun Citizens Language School’ for two days from the 10th to the 11th.
This Gijang-gun Citizens University will operate 34 courses divided into general courses, humanities courses, and 5060 middle-aged courses.

The Gijang-gun Citizens Language School operates 43 programs including language courses in English, Japanese, Chinese at various levels, and mobile video (phone) lectures.
A beginner Vietnamese course has been newly established in this term’s language school program. ▲‘Achieving TOEIC 750 Points’ for TOEIC exam preparation ▲‘Native Speaker’s Insight into American Culture’ to learn about each country’s culture ▲Exploring Chinese Culture, among various special lectures, are expected to further enhance learners’ interest.
The 1st term lifelong learning program will run for a total of 10 weeks from March 24 to June 4, and anyone aged 20 or older who is a resident of Gijang-gun or works in Gijang-gun can apply. However, the 5060 middle-aged course at Gijang-gun Citizens University is open to those born before December 31, 1974. Applications will be accepted for two days from March 10 to 11, and those wishing to enroll can apply through the Gijang-gun Lifelong Learning website.
An official from the county said, “We hope that the various courses at Gijang-gun Citizens University and Gijang-gun Citizens Language School will provide residents with the joy of learning and opportunities for growth,” and added, “We ask for the interest and participation of many residents.”
