CEO Leads Personal Information Protection Training
for All Employees

Gyeonggi Yeoju Urban Corporation announced on the 5th that on the 4th, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) conducted face-to-face personal information protection training for all employees to strengthen personal information protection capabilities.

This training covered the corporation's personal information protection lifestyle rules, cases of personal information leakage and exposure that may occur during work, response measures, and protection measures at each processing stage.

Yeoju Urban Corporation became the first local public enterprise in Gyeonggi Province in 2024 to simultaneously acquire information security (ISO 27701) and personal information protection (ISO 27701) certifications to strengthen information security and personal information protection management systems. The corporation has continuously made efforts to practice personal information protection to prevent and respond to personal information leakage by gathering opinions from various stakeholders through projects such as the advancement of personal information access records and the formation of a personal information protection working group. Additionally, when concerns about information leakage due to the use of DeepSeek, which has recently become controversial, were raised, the corporation proactively blocked access to DeepSeek.

Im Myung-jin, president of the corporation, said, “I hope all employees raise their awareness of personal information protection and practice safe personal information management,” adding, “We will continue to conduct ongoing personal information protection training and strengthen the security of personal information to ensure its safety.”
