Now in its 18th year, the &Award is the most prestigious digital media award in Korea, sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT and organized by the Korea Digital Enterprise Association. Every year, it recognizes innovative projects that have contributed to the development of the digital industry.
Emotion Global won the Grand Prix in the mid-sized enterprise category for the “Seoul Semiconductor Official Website Renewal” and the Winner award in the large enterprise category for the “OCI Website User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) Renewal,” achieving a double crown in the Digital Service category at this year’s &Award.
The Seoul Semiconductor official website renewal focused on effectively conveying the technological competitiveness and market value of a company leading the global light-emitting diode (LED) market. It applied modern design and interactive elements to provide product and technology information intuitively. By adopting responsive design, it enhanced information accessibility. This was highly praised for reducing site bounce rates and improving user satisfaction and purchase conversion rates.
The OCI website UI and UX renewal emphasized effectively communicating the brand vision and strategy while improving user experience. It highlighted the company’s vision and history through typography and storytelling, and strengthened brand identity by reflecting the brand logo and color motifs. This consistent brand experience was recognized as a successful renewal case.
