Gyeongbuk Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Jong-sik) announced on the 5th through the education office website the "2025 Local Government Employee New Appointment Examination Implementation Plan."
Through the local government employee new appointment exams conducted three times this year, the Gyeongbuk Office of Education plans to recruit 121 new public officials.
The number of recruits for the 1st appointment exam is 118, with the recruitment by job series (job category) as follows: Education Administration (General) 32, Education Administration (Disabled) 8, Education Administration (Low-income) 2, Computer 3, Librarian 13, Librarian (Disabled) 2, Health 4, Industry (Mechanical) 2, Industry (Electrical) 2, Facility Management 32, Facility Management (Veterans Affairs) 8, Driver 4, Driver (Veterans Affairs) 2, Driver (Nutrition, Bonghwa) 4.
In the 2nd appointment exam (separate recruitment for commercial high schools), one person will be recruited for Education Administration, and in the 3rd appointment exam (separate recruitment for technical high schools), two people will be recruited for Facility (Architecture).
The 1st appointment exam will be held on June 21 (application period April 14?18), the 2nd appointment exam on August 30 (application period July 28?August 1), and the 3rd appointment exam on November 1 (application period August 25?29).
Applications can only be submitted online, and for the 2nd and 3rd appointment exams, only those who meet the qualification requirements and have received recommendations from the respective schools are eligible to apply.
Meanwhile, through this year's new appointment exams, the Gyeongbuk Office of Education plans to recruit 10 disabled public officials (8.3%), exceeding the legally mandated employment rate for disabled persons (3.6%), and strengthen opportunities for local talents to enter public service through separate recruitment for graduates of specialized high schools and Meister high schools.
Lim Jong-sik, Superintendent of Gyeongbuk Office of Education, stated, "We will support local talents to demonstrate their capabilities in public service through this recruitment and provide fair hiring opportunities to socially disadvantaged groups such as disabled persons," adding, "We will continue to strive to realize the 'Warm Gyeongbuk Education' that the Gyeongbuk Office of Education pursues."
