SM Group Samhwan Corporation Receives Cheonan City Commendation for Contributions to Local Housing Environment Improvement

Project Resumed After Suspension, Completion Scheduled for April... Contributing to Regional Development

SM Group announced on the 5th that Yoo Chang-hoon, CEO of Samhwan Enterprises, a construction affiliate of the group, received a commendation from Park Sang-don, Mayor of Cheonan, at the 'March 2025 Municipal Development Meritorious Citizen Commendation Ceremony' held at Bongseo Hall, Cheonan City Hall, Seobuk-gu, Cheonan.

This recognition was awarded for the contribution of ‘Cheonan Station Gyeongnam Honorsville Urban Heights,’ constructed by Samhwan Enterprises, to improving the residential environment and enhancing the urban landscape, thereby contributing to the development of the local community. ‘Cheonan Station Gyeongnam Honorsville Urban Heights’ is an apartment complex with 293 households located in Seongjeong-dong, Seobuk-gu, Cheonan. It consists of ▲61 units of 84㎡A ▲189 units of 84㎡B ▲43 units of 128㎡. Samhwan Enterprises resumed the project in September 2023 after it had been halted due to the previous developer’s financial difficulties and is scheduled for completion in April.

Yoo Chang-hoon, CEO of Samhwan Enterprises, said, “We aimed to contribute to regional development through designs that consider urban aesthetics and improvements in the residential environment reflecting practicality,” adding, “Based on SM Group’s philosophy of strengthening communication with the local community, we will do our best to continuously advance the project.”
