Arklink, a company specializing in cybercrime response, announced that it will operate an "Emergency Support Campaign" for teenagers who are victims of bodycam phishing throughout March. This campaign supports up to 15 individuals per month and fully covers the solution costs if the affected teenagers receive counseling together with their parents.
Arklink emphasized that bodycam phishing is a serious crime causing significant psychological and social harm to teenagers, and established this support measure to prevent the spread of damage through prompt intervention and assistance.
An Arklink representative stated, "Teenagers who fall victim to bodycam phishing often try to resolve the issue alone amid fear and anxiety, which can lead to greater risks," adding, "Through this campaign, we will actively support affected teenagers to receive immediate help."
Victimized teenagers and their guardians can make real-time inquiries through various channels such as in-person counseling, phone, KakaoTalk, Naver TalkTalk, and Line. Arklink plans to provide rapid response and recovery support using specialized security solutions for the reported cases.
Through this campaign, Arklink aims to take the lead in protecting teenagers from bodycam phishing and plans to continuously expand support to create a safe environment against digital crimes.
