Gyeonggi Office of Education Lifelong Learning Center, Dokdo Experience Center Open Recruitment for Exhibition Guides

The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education Lifelong Learning Center is publicly recruiting 'Dokdo Experience Center Exhibition Guides' who will professionally explain the value of Dokdo and the beauty of its natural environment.


Since 2015, the Lifelong Learning Center has been operating the Dokdo Experience Center within its space, conducting permanent exhibitions as well as programs that visit schools.


On the 4th, the Lifelong Learning Center announced that it decided to recruit exhibition guides this time to provide more professional and friendly guidance services to visitors of the Experience Center.


Eligibility requirements include residents of Gyeonggi Province who meet one of the following: ▲ those who have completed the Dokdo exhibition guide training course ▲ holders of teaching certificates with a strong interest in history or geography ▲ majors in history or geography ▲ those who have been issued an honorary resident certificate of Dokdo and have a strong interest in Dokdo.

Applications are accepted from the 4th to the 17th of this month, and final successful candidates will be selected based on the highest scores through document screening. The final successful candidates will be announced on the Lifelong Learning Center website on the 21st.


The Dokdo Experience Center exhibition guides will operate from May to December, providing Dokdo exhibition explanations and digital educational materials (AR, VR) experiences within the Dokdo Experience Center at times requested by parents, students, and faculty.


Jo Jeong-su, Director of the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education Lifelong Learning Center, said, "The operation of the Dokdo Experience Center exhibition guides, starting for the first time this year, will be an opportunity to spread love for Dokdo to more local residents," and added, "We will do our best to establish the expertise of lifelong learning in Gyeonggi education as the representative lifelong learning center of the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education."
