Providing Community-Based Health Consultations and Vaccinations
Gwangju Dong-gu (District Chief Lim Taek) announced on the 4th that it has been selected for Gwangju City's "2025 Public Health Center Integrated Health Center Establishment and Operation Pilot Project" and will strengthen customized smart health management services for residents.
This project comprehensively provides various services such as community-based health consultations, chronic disease management, and vaccinations. With this selection, Dong-gu Public Health Center has taken its first step toward improving residents' health and preventing diseases.
Dong-gu Public Health Center plans to provide one-on-one personalized health management through the Integrated Health Center and offer medical care services in collaboration with local medical institutions. In addition, efforts will be made to encourage continuous resident participation and to enhance residents' health awareness through the provision of health information and education.
Lim Taek, District Chief, stated, "Through the Public Health Center Integrated Health Center project, we will strive to manage the health of our local residents systematically and professionally," adding, "We expect this project to serve as an important turning point in improving the quality of life for local residents by establishing an integrated management system that links public health and integrated care."
