During the holiday period from March 1st, the 3·1 Movement Day, to the 3rd, the weather nationwide will be mostly cloudy with rain. On the 1st, daytime temperatures will rise close to 20 degrees Celsius, showing warm spring weather, but on the 2nd and 3rd, temperatures will drop somewhat due to cold air coming down from the north.

On Sunday the 2nd, temperatures will fall and rain will occur. From the afternoon, strong, humid, and heavy snow falling at a rate of 1 to 3 cm per hour is expected in the metropolitan area, Gangwon Province, northern Chungbuk, and northern Gyeongbuk. The expected precipitation from the 2nd to the 3rd is 20 to 60 mm in the metropolitan area, Chungcheong region, and inland Gangwon, and 30 to 80 mm in the Chungcheong region. The expected snowfall during the same period is 3 to 10 cm in Seoul and southeastern and northwestern Gyeonggi, 20 to 50 cm (up to 70 cm in some areas) on the east coast and mountainous areas of Gangwon, 5 to 20 cm in northern Chungbuk, and 10 to 40 cm in the northeastern mountainous areas of Gyeongbuk.
From the afternoon, strong winds around 55 km/h will blow in many places nationwide. Morning low temperatures are forecast to be between 0 and 11 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs between 8 and 18 degrees Celsius. Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Good' to 'Moderate' across all regions, but the metropolitan area will experience 'Bad' levels in the morning.
Sea waves will be 0.5 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea nearshore, and 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the nearshore areas of the West Sea and South Sea. Offshore waves (about 200 km from the coastline) are predicted to be 0.5 to 4.0 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 3.5 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the South Sea.
